Overview

Verathon® is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to become the newest member of our Logistics & Warehouse team located in our Amsterdam, Netherlands office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the activities of the Logistics & Warehouse function to ensure a high level of quality Logistics & Warehouse support is provided to ensure safety of patients as well as the customers operating the equipment, and commercial success
• Always follows the Verathon Complaints Procedure, as instructed by the Company
• Establish and drive best in class Logistics & Warehouse support to customers and Verathon team members that rely on the high quality of service of the Logistics team to sell to customers
• Supports in the overall management and monitoring of stock management and allocation and order management including batching and filing of all documentation
• Physical handling of inbound and outbound shipments (products, spare parts, demo equipment, loaners) & the associated documentation
• Supports in the coordination of the EMEA Logistics & Warehouse activities to ensure the highest quality and commercially focused Logistics & Warehouse support to customers, distributors and local subsidiaries
• Contribute to the development of a metric based approach and key performance indicators to measure Logistics & Warehouse service effectiveness and business impact
• Periodically reports to Operations management on all role related activities, initiatives and improvements
• Work collaboratively with all inter-related departments to underpin all commercial initiatives efficiently and effectively and ensures the company can achieve success in reaching business targets
• Utilize known tools and strategies for process improvement and quality of process outputs to reach optimal efficiency and operational capacity
• Any other duties assigned by the Direct Manager and/or Company, from time to time
• Continuation of Verathon’s Mission and Objectives
• Ensure adherence to Roper’s Code of Ethics, Compliance initiatives, Workplace Harassment and Technology & Privacy guidelines

Qualifications

• Successfully completed university level education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related discipline preferred
• 1-5+ years of related experience with proven track record of achievements gained in working in similar markets and companies, preferably in a medical devices, pharmaceutical or capital equipment organization 
• Experience working for a U.S. based manufacturing company preferred.
• Knowledge of track & trace system of transport companies
• Experience with interface to sales teams, sales channels, supply chain, customer care, technical service and finance preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills
